Bloodred Hourglass is a Finnish metal band from Mikkeli, formed in 2005. The band's music is rooted in melodic death metal while also drawing from metalcore and alternative metal. Their sound combines heavy guitars and harsh vocals with melodic passages and electronic elements. Since the release of their debut album 'Lifebound' in 2012, the group has issued a string of records, including 'Godsend', 'Your Highness' and 'How's the Heart?'. Over the years, Bloodred Hourglass has evolved from a more traditional death metal foundation towards a modern, melodic approach that has established them within both the Finnish and wider European metal scene. Brymir is a Finnish metal band from Helsinki, formed in 2006. The band combines melodic death metal with elements of symphonic metal, folk metal and pagan metal, resulting in a sound marked by both intensity and expansive atmospheric arrangements. Their music draws on Nordic mythology and epic storytelling while incorporating modern melodic and technical influences. Brymir debuted with the album 'Breathe Fire to the Sun' in 2011 and have since released records including 'Slayer of Gods', 'Wings of Fire' and 'Voices in the Sky'. The group is known for combining fast-paced guitar work, strong melodies and orchestral details in its songwriting. Pridian is a modern metal band from Tartu, Estonia, formed in 2018. The quartet operates between metalcore, industrial metal and electronic music, with heavy grooves, technical rhythms and dark synthesizer textures playing a central role. The band originally performed under the name ÆØNS before re-emerging as Pridian and further developing its sound with a stronger emphasis on atmosphere and electronic elements. Their debut album 'Venetian Dark' was released in 2025 through Century Media Records and was nominated for Metal Album of the Year at the Estonian Music Awards. Pridian's music combines contemporary metal production, melodic hooks and dark moods with a sound that reaches beyond traditional metalcore.
