Get Together

A relaxed, welcoming art gathering for refugees, applicants for international protection, immigrants, and anyone seeking connection and community. GETA, a non-profit dedicated to nurturing a caring and inclusive multicultural society through the arts, is bringing its beloved Get Together meet-ups to Gerðuberg City Library! Each Friday, we move at an unhurried pace — painting, weaving, singing, playing, and simply being. Some days include guided expressive arts, opening space to explore creativity and imagine an ecology we wish to co-inhabit. Everyone is welcome — whether you come alone or with family. Children and young people are especially encouraged to join. Free coffee and treats for all!
