Reflections is a retrospective celebrating the work of Hallsteinn Sigurðsson (1945–2024), one of Iceland’s most prolific sculptors. Presented in the artist’s studio at Ystasel 37, the exhibition offers rare insight into his creative process and artistic development over six decades. Key works in aluminum, iron, and concrete are shown alongside sketches, archival materials, and previously unseen pieces that illuminate his conceptual approach and material explorations. The exhibition is a vivid tribute to an artist whose work significantly shaped Icelandic sculpture and left a lasting mark on the country’s cultural landscape.
